The Kids Mental Health Foundation Launches New Entertainment Council
Entertainment Council brings together leaders across culture, entertainment and the arts to join in The Kids Mental Health Foundation’s work to support children’s mental health
January 27, 2026- The Kids Mental Health Foundation announces the launch of a new Entertainment Council. The 19-member council, featuring industry leaders in film, entertainment, sports, music, art and more, is passionate about children’s mental health and aims to help the Kids Mental Health foundation provide free, expert-created mental health resources to parents, caregivers, teachers, and coaches across the United States.
The Entertainment Council plans to help advance The Kids Mental Health Foundation mission to create a world where mental health is a vital part of every child’s upbringing—where children’s mental health is as important as their physical health, and where grown-ups have the skills to help kids face and manage life’s challenges.

Our new Entertainment Council includes an impressive slate of mental health champions that will help us bring attention to the important tools and resources that empower families to support children’s mental health,” said Dr. Ariana Hoet, executive clinical director of The Kids Mental Health Foundation and a pediatric psychologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. “We are so grateful to each of these individuals for using their voices to help us make mental health a vital part of every child’s upbringing.”
The Kids Mental Health Foundation, powered by more than 1000 clinical experts at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, will work alongside council members throughout the year. The Entertainment Council will support the foundation’s work in a variety of initiatives, such as visiting Columbus to tour Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Big Lots Behavioral Health Pavilion, attending school visits to talk with students about the importance of mental health, distributing free, educational resources, and amplifying the foundation’s work on their social media platforms.
