Tyler Davis
“I think mental health is important for everyone but especially kids because it’s vital for how they transition into adulthood. You won’t be an athlete forever, but you’ll be you forever, so it’s important to work on you.”
About Tyler
Tyler Davis has been one of the top defensive lineman in the country since his high school days. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 6th round of the NFL draft in April of 2024. Tyler was a part of the Rams NFC West first place season in 2024 and their playoff run in 2025. Before coming to the Rams, Tyler was Clemson University's first defensive player to be a four-time All-ACC selection, including three consecutive First-Team honors from 2021-23. To break that record Tyler passed Christian Wilkins, Dexter Lawrence and William Perry for the most career All-ACC selections by a defensive tackle in Clemson history.
A native of Florida, Tyler attended Wekiva High School in Apopka Florida where he was rated as the no. 60 overall player in the nation, the seventh-best defensive tackle and prospect in the state of Florida by ESPN, and a consensus four-star prospect coming out of high school.
Tyler currently resides in Woodland Hills, CA with his fianceé Soleil. Tyler credits his college coaches for his passion for mental health. They gave him permission and focus to work on all of the challenges that student-athletes face during their careers. During the off season, he enjoys supporting his community, spending time with teammates and traveling to see family.
Tyler was honored in 2024 by the Kids Mental Health Foundation with the Champion of Influence for Mental Health award and has appeared at Kids Mental Health Day to volunteer in various ways to spend time teaching kids about the importance of mental health. Helping young student athletes understand that they are more than just an athlete is important to Tyler. He has named The Kids Mental Health Foundation for NFL’s My Cause My Cleats to bring more awareness to the organization’s mission.
