“We are teaming up with The Kids Mental Health Foundation because what they’re doing hits home with me, hits home with Nina, and is something we want to be a part of.”
- Ryan

Nina Day and Head Coach Ryan Day have a first-hand understanding of the vital connection between mind and body. The Day family has been impacted not only by the high-stress world of collegiate athletics, but also by the long-term effects of losing a family member to suicide.

In 2019, the Days established The Christina and Ryan Day Fund for Pediatric and Adolescent Mental Wellness at Nationwide Children’s Hospital to expand their advocacy to children’s mental health. The Day Time Break Kit is the cornerstone of their work with The Kids Mental Health Foundation.

Your Gift Brings Free “Day Time Break Kits” to Classrooms Across America

The Day Time Break is a curriculum for middle school and high school teachers with lesson plans that help students learn how they can boost mental health.

With generous support from The Nina and Ryan Day Fund, more than 200,000 free “Day Time Break” Curriculums have been distributed in both English and Spanish.

NEW Day Time Break Curriculum Kits will bring even more resources to classrooms in a fun and easy-to-use format.

Your donation of $30 gifts a kit for a teacher and provides a classroom with mental health lesson plans and self-care strategies that can help kids during stressful times.

Middle School Teachers can request a physical kit for their classroom.

“We believe in all of our hearts that this is something that can really improve our youth. This is an epidemic right now in our country, and we want to be a part of it so we started the fund where we want to raise as much money as we can for this cause.”
